What better way to bring in this glorious season than to wear plaid to a pumpkin patch! I mean, isn't that what everyone does? I had so much fun this past weekend with all of my favorites!  I took my little cousin to D.C., to see the Renwick Gallery.  I have a previous post on that which you can see here.  But that gallery actually changes exhibits a lot, which I didn't know at first, so we didn't take much pictures in there.  There were some cool pieces but not necessarily our style.

Nonetheless, we got some great shots on that beautiful day in D.C. Once we were done there, we headed back home to northern Virginia to find a pumpkin patch!  It was so fun! I hadn't been to one in years.  I got apple cider, fresh basked double chocolate chip cookies, AND a free mini pumpkin.  It's so cute!

Anyways, I hope you all are enjoying your fall so far.  And for all of you Scorpio babies, hang on tight.  It's ALMOST our time! I know I can't WAIT for Scorpio Season!

Hey everyone! I've been on a roll with these videos, huh?! Make sure you check out my newest one.  This is the story on my big break-up.  I know some of you all have followed me from back in the day and know that I was with someone for a very long time.  Find out what happened with us, how I moved on, and figure out how you can channel your energy to move on from a loss or break-up, too.

Love you girls! Stay positive and stay beautiful!

Hello beautiful ladies! I hope you all are having a wonderful evening.  I just filmed/edited/uploaded a new YouTube video...and it's not just a video! It's a challenge!  In the video I talk about starting a journey to healthier natural hair.  I am so excited to start this process it's not even funny!

I do have to admit though, I am addicted to HEAT! I have been flat-ironing my hair for years, and when my hair was long and strong it seemed to be okay.  But as I mentioned in previous videos before, from 2014 to 2015 I experienced a lot of hair loss due to stress, and now I really need to cut the heat and nurse my curls back to health.

For any of you girls who have been thinking about doing the same thing, then join me on this challenge! I will be making regular updates on YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, and here on my blog, so make sure you're subscribed and following me everywhere.  Oh, and there's a HASHTAG: #SNTH2017 (SNTH = SAY NO TO HEAT).  So for all of your curly-hair pictures, please use the hash tag so I can click through and see how you guys are doing.

This actual challenge isn't going to start until January 1st, 2017.  So without going too over board, get in your heat tools as much as you need to before then.  One the first of the year, all who are joining me are cutting that shit out! Let's build a support system and help each other out!  WE CAN DO THIS!  Please check out the video below and SUBSCRIBE to my blog and YouTube channel if you haven't already.

Hello beauties, I hope you all are doing well! Before I get started, have you guys seen my new YouTube video yet? If not, please check it out! It's just an update video on what's been going on in my life the last couple of years.  I was MIA from my blog and my channel for about that amount of time, so I recorded that video for you all in an effort to explain what was going on.

Anyways, enough about that.  I just wanted to share a couple of INSTA pictures from today that I thought came out super good.  My sister and I had another charity event for Cindy's Legacy at Kendra Scott.  The last few times we've done fundraisers with them they have been held at the Reston, VA location, but this time we branched out and had it at the Charlottesville location! The store was gorgeous, the people were helpful, and we raised over $400 for our charity.  To see how our last event went, click here!

We arrived with enough time to get a quick bite to eat around brunch time and went to this restaurant called "Rock Salt."  It was pretty good! I got a bloody mary and shrimp and grits, mmmmmm! By the way, random fact: shrimp and grits is one of my favorite meals! But I managed to get a couple of good #foodgasm shots that were pretty IG worthy so I decided to share them with you guys here.  Plus, I got a pretty awesome selfie and my curls were just poppin'! If you're not following me on Instagram already, then click the link at the top and do so! What are ya waiting for?! :)
Sorry I was a little MIA again, but I'm back and ready to be back to bloggin'!
