BITCHES @ BRUNCH ♥

I feel very fortunate to have been invited to my friend Noel's 25th birthday brunch this past weekend.  We have been friends since elementary school, and having true friendships for that many years is truly a blessing!  It's a great feeling to have friends that you can meet up with and pick up where you left off, even if it's been a while. The brunch was at Policy in D.C., and for $45, we got bottomless mimosas and there was a brunch buffet.  The food and drinks were great!

Me and my best friend, who also went to elementary school with me, went together and we had a blast! I wasn't originally going to take all the pictures I did.  But one, I had just purchased my new 50mm lens the day before, and two, ALL of her friends were fucking BADDIES! I was in awe at the how beautiful and humble all of these girls were.  I made all of the girls stand in a corner so I could take picture of their outfits.  I managed to get one of mine, too lol!  The lighting could have been a little better, but hey.  It could have been pitch black and you'd still be able to see all the SLAY that was happening in that room.

Moral of the story, girlfriends are a must!  If you have a girlfriend that you haven't spoken to in a while, hit her up and grab lunch with her!  And whatever you do, do it fashionably, because girlfriends who slay together stay together! ♥

The beautiful birthday girl in white.

Can we take a moment to take in the amazing-ness of these Gucci heels?

This is the first girl I stopped and asked to shoot.  Can't you see why?! This girl looks like a model! She was about 6'1" in those heels and slaying so hard in that gray fitted dress.  I think she was a little weirded out by my creeper status but then she saw how hot she was and was cool with me lol!

Cutie in a Forever 21 jumpsuit!

Romper fro Anne Taylor.

So, can any of you guess why I stopped this girl to take to her.  Uhm, hello! This jacket is CRAZY! And when I asked her where she got it, she thrifted it! Then, because I was falling in love with her so quickly, I told her that I wasn't actually a photographer for the event but I was a friend of the birthday girl's and I was taking fashion pictures for my blog.  Uhm...she has a blog which I am going to link here as soon as she gets back to me with the URL. But YES.  This girl is a go-getter and has really inspired me to keep up with my blogging and not to give up.  She was so humble and down to earth I could literally write a book.  But to keep this short, I will just say, go follow her.  I hope to link up with her again VERY soon to do a shoot together!

And, yours truly.

Thank you to all of the girls who let me be my creepy, Scorpio self, and take pictures of you.

Until next time...
